Did you know through a non-partisan study in the USA that BMW ranks No 1 in the reduction of CO2 emissions? It was in the latest issue of the US Environmental Defense Report. According to the study, BMW reduced the CO2 emissions of its car fleet by 12.3 percent from 1990 through 2005 (its closest competitor achieved a 3 percent reduction in CO2 emissions), while sales in the USA increased four-fold in the same period.
